Corrections

What we got wrong — on the record.

A newsroom that won’t list its mistakes is a newsroom you can’t trust. This page logs every substantive correction Belgium Impulse has made since launch, with enough detail to re-verify the change yourself.

On the record.

Every substantive correction is logged here with the article slug, the original text, the corrected text, and the date. We do not silently edit. Typos and broken links are fixed without an entry; factual errors, mis-attributions and significant updates get a corrections row.

Fast, not graceful.

We would rather correct quickly and tag the change than wait to draft the perfect note. If you flag an error, expect acknowledgement the same day during European business hours; a fix follows once the newsroom has verified the report.

Translated everywhere.

A correction on the English version of an article is mirrored to its FR / NL / ES translations on the same day, keeping every language version aligned. A correction in any language flows back to the base article.

Sources stay visible.

When a correction stems from a source error, the source link stays in the article’s sources popup so readers can verify what changed. Removing a source would defeat the purpose of having one.

The log

No corrections on record.

The corrections log is live. No substantive corrections have been recorded since launch. When a factual error, mis-attribution, or significant update is made to any article, it will appear here within hours — with the article slug, original text, corrected text, and the date.

Tell us what we got wrong.

Include the article URL or slug, the passage that’s wrong, and — if you have it — a primary source we can verify against. The newsroom address goes to a real person; corrections take priority over every other inbox.
